RECOGNITION AWARDS
The DDCA has a recognition program that includes Coach of the Year, Service Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award. The nomination process is the same for all three awards: the membership submits names of those individuals that deserve the appropriate recognition. Nominations are taken in December via on online process. Finalists for Coach of the Year are voted on by the membership in January. Lifetime Achievement and Service Award nominees are reviewed by the DDCA Board. All award recipients are then recognized at the State Championships in March.
